GPDGC Courses

The Grande Prairie Disc Golf Club currently runs two 18-hole courses. We take pride in both our projects. We are confident, that they are both challenging and interesting. Players of any skills will surely find them fun to play with a little dose of healthy frustration that goes hand in hand with a good round of disc golf after having those not-so-good throws.

Thrill Hill Course

Our flag ship project is the Thrill Hill Disc Golf Course, located just South from downtown Grande Prairie in the Muskoseepi Park around the valley of Bear Creek. This course, thanks to unique topography of the valley, offers a great variety of different types of holes in terms of length, elevation change, width and canopy. This course is great for beginners learning the basics of the game, as well as for advanced players for a pleasant after-work round.

South Bear Course

Our second project, that is still under development, but fully playable is South Bear Disc Golf Course located near the baseball diamonds in the southern part of Grande Prairie. This one was created with advanced players in mind, however each hole has a set of three different tees for players of various skills. This is one of the longest disc golf courses in Canada, so you can expect a good workout for your throwing arm. You will like some rapid changes in elevation as well as some interesting and surprising mandos.
